I am a new customer of Tidewater Finance, although I have only spoken with a couple of representatives each encounter has been pleasant. The staff is very helpful, friendly and it was a pleasant exchange. I recently suffered a financial setback and was having difficulty finding financing for a vehicle, Tidewater accepted my application and provided financing at an affordable rate considering my current credit status. I was informed by the dealership that the President of the company personally reached out to them to lower my payments because he felt that they were too high. I was also offered the option to split my payments in half each month. I have never had such a positive experience with a lender. I will continue to sing their praises.
I haven’t had much interaction with this company but they did come through with financing for me after struggling with financial difficulties and finally bankruptcy. The approval was quick and they provided their service, high rate lending for those deemed as credit risk. The story begins!
Extremely easy to do business with Tidewater. My loan was approved in a few hours and their follow up was immediate and professional. I would gladly do business with them again.
I traded in a 2016 Dodge Charger several weeks ago. I was prompt in reaching out and getting a 10 day pay off prior to doing so. My new car lender CARVANA send a check for the payoff quote well before my 4/01/2021 payment. I received a call Today stating that I owed $75 no big deal I'll pay it. But now I'm getting alerts from CAP ONE who I have credit cards with that my auto loan is delinquent. How is this possible?
I just started with them. My experience thus far has been professional. After reading the previous reviews, I will be very cautious and ensure I get my payment confirmation and/or receipts. I will NEVER pay in cash like someone has previously posted. That was awful! Tidewater please do better and learn from previous customers experiences. CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REPUTATION EVERYTHING!!!!
